Busy Days Off

The last couple of days just flew by. It was spent finishing up the Snowman tree and cleaning the living room. Actually what took so long this year was the stupid lights. Half the strands would work and the other half I couldn't get anything. It was very frustrating. Then Wal-Mart didn't have any clear light sets left. So I bought the Amber ones and took the clear lights out of the broken strands and replaced the amber ones with those. Yea that took a little while.

I'm crazy huh. LOL

Thought I would share some of my favorite snowmen ornaments with ya. The set of 3 are from a series. And I just realized that I forgot to buy the one from last year. Going to have to do an Ebay search and see if I can find it. The single one by itself is one of the first ones I bought for my snowman tree. I love the crackle paint finish on it. It looks so old fashion.

Also I have been working on my TTL Mystery socks. I am just about done with the one. I am hoping to have them finished by this weekend so I can start on a couple of other projects. More on the projects later.

Tomorrow is a work day and I am not really looking forward to going. But it was brought to my attention that there is 8 of us scheduled for Friday. So I am going to talk to my boss and see if I can just get it off. I need to do a few things that deal with the college. And it would be nice not to have to do it after work. Hopefully she will say yes. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Tonight I am a little frustrated with the son. We got into one of our little spats again. He loves to argue and is very stubborn like his mother. I dont think I fought this much with my daughter.

On that note I am going to head back to knitting before I head off to dreamland.

Last Day For Post A Day... Its gonna be a @#$% fest

That is for posting a post a day month!

I made it. I have to admit though, working and such makes it much harder to blog. And there is a lot of things I really cant talk about on my blog about work. Also work interferes with my knitting time. So then there really isn't much to blog about.

Life just gets you coming and going.

This last weekend at work has been horrible.

To start off a favorite resident died. This was not even expected. She was fine one minute, laughing and talking to us. I went to break and came back and she was gone. Her sister said she went the way she wanted to go. Quick and painless. I will miss her dearly. A very sweet lady! Rest in peace.

Then people were not working well together. Choosing to come in when they felt like it. Only doing what they wanted to do and not want to help other people. Overall just some crappy ass attitudes.

I am sick of it! I HATE working with lazy people and I HATE working with people who dont give a shit about nothing.

And our nurse on Sunday about floored me! Seriously!! She said to us and I quote, "Try not killing anyone today." I turned her happy ass in today. I dont care if she was joking or not, you just don't say that to people. Besides this nurse has a bad attitude and grips about everything.

Today was no better. I really wish some people would just find another job and quit! Like the person I worked with today. She is getting worse and worse each day. And people getting mad and listening in on a conversation that had nothing to do with them and thinking it did. Just grow up!!

I will be so glad when January gets here and I get to start school. Then I wont have to deal with some of these stupid people.

Right now I think I will take my cranky butt to bed before I find something else to complain about. I will come back tomorrow with happy thoughts and pictures of socks and Christmas trees.

Today has been a pretty good day.

I had a nice day at work. After work hubby and I went out to the Wal-Mart to see if there was any good deals left or something that I would be interested in. Really there was nothing. I wish I would have seen the ads for the sales then I guess I would know if I missed out on anything. Oh well really didn't have the money to spend.

I figured before I picked the winner I would finish up the lipstick lava fingerless mitts. I do love the pattern but I am getting a little sick of it now. Tomorrow I plan on working on finishing up my mystery socks. That should only take me a month or so. LOL

Ok enough babbling.

Well that is about it for me tonight. I work this weekend, which means I have to go in an hour early. ugh!!!
